Learn the basics with confidence
Digital Skills Training by EPIC Assist (EPIC) helps people with disability gain the confidence and skills to use technology safely and independently.
Co-designed with the Centre for Social Impact at Flinders University and people with disability, the program combines accessibility, practical learning, and encouragement in every session.
Training takes place in person at EPIC’s inclusive, accessible space. The course uses plain language, hands-on activities, and simple tools to make learning enjoyable and stress-free.
You’ll finish with new digital skills and a Certificate of Completion.

Who’s it for?
Digital Skills Training is designed for people with disability who want to feel more confident using technology. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to stay connected, learn safely, and open new opportunities for study, volunteering, or work.
Our group sessions are welcoming and inclusive of First Nations peoples, CALD communities, older Australians, and refugees. Everyone is supported to learn at their own pace. No experience is needed.

What you’ll learn
The course is built around three easy-to-follow modules:

Digital Communication
The first module teaches you how to use email and social media. We’ll show you how to stay safe online and what good communication looks like online.

Digital Creation
This module is all about creating things online that show the world who you are. You’ll make a digital resume, images or posts to tell your story online and promote yourself in a safe and positive way.

Online Buying and Selling
The last module covers how to promote and sell things online, like products and services. You’ll also learn how to interact safely with buyers and people interested in what you are selling.
Each module includes five small, hands-on workshops that build real-world confidence step by step.
Support that meets your needs
Every participant receives personalised support. We welcome support workers at all workshops and offer extra trainer time when needed. Our focus is on creating a relaxed, accessible space where everyone feels included and supported.
